Emily Schlicht, PT, DPT
Emily Schlicht is a pediatric physical therapist and the owner of EMpower PT. Emily specializes in treating infants and toddlers with rare diagnoses including neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder) and most neurological or genetic diagnoses using the Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) method.
She is a Certified Autism Specialist (CAS), which means she has experience introducing sensory stimuli in a controlled manner to reduce frequency of sensory driven meltdowns.
Emily is also a Certified Schroth Therapist, skilled in treating tweens, teens and young adults who are looking to avoid surgery or recover from surgery for scoliosis or kyphosis.
During her free time Emily enjoys camping, skiing, knitting, and most importantly - watching bad reality TV.
Isabella Luger PT, DPT
Isabella is a pediatric physical therapist with experience in NICU and PICU settings. She is passionate about helping infants and toddlers thrive in a stress free environment.
Her favorite diagnoses to treat include torticollis and complications due to premature birth. She has taken extensive continuing education courses in treating torticollis and its associated newborn diagnoses.
Isabella uses her experience to curate engaging, play-based treatments that optimize movement, function, and overall well-being.
Outside of work, Isabella loves to travel and enjoys spending time with her family!
MIKAILA MARKEL, OTR/L
Mikaila is a pediatric occupational therapist with experience in clinic, home, and school settings. She is passionate about helping children build the foundational motor, sensory, and self-regulation skills they need to thrive in everyday life.
Her treatment approach integrates movement-based techniques such as Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), primitive reflex integration, and sensory integration strategies to support coordination, attention, and body awareness. Mikaila is certified in Interactive Metronome, DMI Level A and B, and Primitive Reflex Integration. She is known for creating therapy sessions that are both evidence-based and engaging.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time near the ocean, staying active, and connecting with friends and family.
