Pediatric Occupational Therapist Job in New York, NY – EMpower PT is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (Per Diem) to join our growing concierge pediatric therapy practice serving families across Manhattan and Brooklyn. This role offers after-school hours Monday through Thursday/Friday and provides the opportunity to deliver highly individualized, in-home care.
At EMpower PT, we meet families where they are—supporting children who are not meeting developmental milestones, experiencing sensory or motor challenges, or navigating neurological and genetic conditions such as autism, ADHD, and sensory processing disorders. Our goal is to promote steady, meaningful progress for every child through compassionate, one-on-one care.
As part of our team, you will travel to patients’ homes and provide 45–60 minute therapy sessions in a supportive environment that values mentorship, collaboration, and ongoing professional development through team in-services and education.
Compensation: $80 – $100/hour
Qualifications:
- Current New York State licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- CPR and AED certification
Responsibilities:
- Travel between patient homes across Manhattan and Brooklyn
- Provide one-on-one occupational therapy treatment sessions (45–60 minutes)
- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with developmental, sensory, and functional challenges
- Complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Communicate effectively with team members and families
